Quick Guide To Heat Press Your DTF Transfers
Prepare the Garment
Ensure the garment is clean, dry, and free of wrinkles. Place the DTF transfer sheet, with the design facing down, on the desired area. Align it carefully for accurate placement. You can consider a 2-3 second pre press before placing the design on the garment.
Apply Heat
Set your heat press based on the garment material. We recommend trying 320°F (160°C) for cotton or 280°F (140°C) for polyester blends. Pressing for 10-15 seconds using medium to heavy pressure. Tip! When pressing - cover the design with a teflon sheet for a glossy finish and parchment paper for a matte look.
Peel, Finish & Post Press
Allow the garment to cool to the touch, then peel the transfer sheet—hot or cold, depending on the instructions. For added durability, consider a light post-press, using a teflon sheet to cover the design press for another 5-10 seconds.
